Date Wednesday, May 4, 2016, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Speaker: Angel Abundez

Topic: SQL Server 2016 SSRS and Power BI with Angel Abundez and Eric Bragas

Microsoft has breathed new life into SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) in the next release of SQL Server with SQL Server 2016.  Come learn all about the upcoming release and how SSRS remains a major part of Microsoft's road map for Business Intelligence alongside Power BI.  We'll explore the new Reporting Portal and uncover all the areas Microsoft has addressed to make organizing content, exploring data, and monitoring KPIs much easier across any browser or any device.  We'll also take a look at the new-and-improved development tools, including the Mobile Report Publisher, for use in creating and sharing content.  Lastly, we'll consume SSRS reports and KPIs on the Power BI app to experience what's possible for mobile users who are always on the go.
